As a resident of Midlothian/Moseley for almost 20 years, Melanie offers a wealth of knowledge about what the community has to offer prospective residents. She has also worked extensively in all parts of Chesterfield County and points south, as well as Powhatan, Goochland, Amelia, Richmond City, Hanover, Louisa, and Henrico. Melanie is well-versed in both resale as well as new construction, having helped clients achieve their dreams of building with most of the local builders in the area. She takes pride in partnering with her clients through each step of the building process, from lot selection and drawing up initial plans, to walk-throughs and design selections, all the way to the final walk-through with the builder.
Melanie has been a licensed NAR member for 12 years, half of which have been with the Rick Cox Realty Group. She feels passionate about working as a team to collaborate and bring new ideas and ways to offer the best client experience possible when buying or selling a home. Having a background in interior design and home staging, Melanie has a keen eye for maximizing the potential in any home she lists, which can make all the difference in not only selling a home, but doing so quickly and for the most money! When it comes to representing buyers, Melanie enjoys working with all manner of people, whether first-time buyers, multi-generational families, or empty nesters who are looking for maintenance-free living. Whatever the situation, she is a patient and knowledgeable partner who is always accessible to her clients.
Melanie attended high school in Springfield, Virginia. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware, an Associate's Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and a certificate in interior design from the University of Richmond.
